Market Entry Consulting for Canada, the US and Beyond
Zeluxa’s market entry consulting helps companies decide whether, where and how to enter a new market. We work with businesses expanding into Canada, the United States, Europe and the Middle East, and with North American firms looking at Türkiye. We analyse the market first, then help you act on it, from offices in the Toronto area, Austin and Istanbul.
Why market entry needs a plan
Entering a new country is not a translation exercise. Pricing, channels, regulation, payment habits and buyer expectations all change at the border. Decisions made in the first months are expensive to undo.
Most expansion problems trace back to one of two mistakes. The first is exporting the home-market playbook unchanged. The second is localising so heavily that the qualities buyers came for disappear. Good market entry keeps the core of your offer and adapts the outer layers: pricing structure, packaging, sales channel, and how you build trust with buyers who do not know your brand yet.
What we analyse
Our Strategic Market Expansion practice covers:
- Market and competitor analysis: who already sells in your category, at what prices and through which channels.
- Growth opportunities: where demand and margin look most attractive for your product.
- Market entry strategy: the sequence, structure and route to market that fit your resources.
- Consumer behaviour: how buyers in the target country search, compare and pay.
- Distribution and sales channels: marketplaces, direct-to-consumer, distributors, or a mix.
- International business development advice: partners, positioning and next steps.
How an engagement works
- Discovery call. We clarify your product, your current markets, the target country and what you want to achieve there.
- Research. Our analysts prepare a product- and country-specific Market Intelligence Report with Survantis Radar, usually in about five business days.
- Strategy. We turn the findings into a written market entry plan with clear priorities and trade-offs. When needed, we also present it to your team online.
- Execution support. If you choose, our marketplace operations and Amazon Ads teams help you put the plan into practice.
How long a project takes depends on what you want to achieve. If you mainly need information, a typical programme takes about five business days for a full Survantis Radar report, plus up to ten more business days for points the report does not cover. Larger scopes can take longer.
From strategy to execution
Strategy is only useful if it works in the real market. Zeluxa has offices and operational connections in Canada, the US and Türkiye, and hands-on experience with Amazon, Walmart, eBay and Etsy. We also run Zeluxa.shop, an online store for natural personal care products, operated from Ontario. Our advice comes from operating experience, not only desk research.
When you are ready to sell, see Marketplace Operations. When you need visibility on Amazon, see Amazon Ads Management.
